The September 12th launch has been postponed due to the weather. We have re-scheduled the launch for September 19th. Currently all club launches are only open to members due to ongoing concerns with the Covid19 pandemic.

Due to rain last Saturday the July launch has been re-scheduled for Saturday July 18th from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm, this is a low / mid power only launch. This launch will only be open to current members of Prairie State Rocketry, this is due to the ongoing Covid19 concerns and restrictions.

Our club’s June 13th will only be open to current club members only, due to the current Covid19 restrictions put in place by the State of Illinois. We are unable to accommodate guest at our launch this includes spectators and those who wish to launch. We apologize for the restrictions, but we put these restrictions in place for everyone’s health and safety. Hopefully in the near future we will be are able to welcome guest back at our launches. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.

After discussions between our club officers we have made the decision to cancel our May launch.
Along with the stay at home order from the Governor and other restrictions put in place by the Governor. We do not feel we can comfortably meet all the restrictions put in place. So we came to this difficult decision, we decided we did not want risk anyone’s health for a few hours of launching rockets.
All of the officers regret cancelling the launch. We all want to be out flying rockets and having fun as soon as possible but the health risk are just to great at this time.
